Tefillah | Sabbath and Covenant Feast Day Prayer

Here is a dedicated prayer watch for the Sabbath and Covenant Feast Day, structured to enter into YAH’s holy set-apart time, celebrate His eternal covenants, and draw spiritual strength while residing in a foreign land. Note: the Sabbath is listed as a Feast Day in Leviticus 23, and “feast” means “appointed time” or “set time” in Hebrew.

Sabbath & Covenant Feast Watch Prayer

I. Sanctification & Entering the Holy Convocation

“O YAH, Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yisrael,

We welcome Your holy Sabbath and set-apart Feast Day with reverence, joy, and Thanksgiving.

You established the Seventh Day at creation, blessing it and declaring it holy.

You commanded Your people to remember Your appointed times, Your Moedim, as perpetual statutes throughout our generations.

We pause from all our daily labors, burdens, and worldly pursuits to enter into Your rest.

As You ceased from Your works, we cease from ours, acknowledging that You alone are the Creator, the Sustainer, and the Redeemer of our souls.

Sanctify this day, our homes, and our hearts as we draw near to Your presence.”

II. Remembrance of Covenant & Mighty Acts

“O Great and Awesome Elohim, we remember Your everlasting covenant made with our fathers.

We remember Your mighty hand and outstretched arm that brought Israel out of the bondage of Egypt.

We remember the Torah given at Sinai, Your divine instructions written for our life, protection, and heritage.

Even here in exile, across the nations where we have been scattered, we proclaim that Your statutes remain unchanging.

Your Sabbath is a sign between You and Your children forever, that we may know that You are YAH who sanctifies us.

We rejoice in Your appointed times, which point to Your righteousness, Your deliverance, and Your eternal kingdom.”

III. Spiritual Feast & Strengthening in Foreign Lands

“O Shepherd of Israel, feed us today with the bread of heaven and the fullness of Your word.

Though we are far from the land of our inheritance, let Your spirit rest upon our dwelling places.

May our home be a sanctuary of peace, purity, and holiness on this set-apart day.

Remove from us all anxiety, heaviness, and distraction.

Strengthen the remnant that keeps Your commandments and guards Your Sabbath from defilement.

Grant us spiritual renewal, physical rest, and deep joy in Your presence.

Let our songs of praise, our prayers, and our study of Your law be acceptable in Your sight.”

IV. Dedication & Closing Blessing

“Hear, O Israel: YAH our Elohim, YAH is One.

Blessed are You, YAH, who sanctifies the Sabbath and the Holy Appointed Times.

We dedicate this set-apart time to Your undivided devotion, walking in Your light today and always. HalleluYAH!”

Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
