You Are Not Her Redeemer | Exposing the Idolatry of Male Dominion | Why No Man Owns a Daughter of YAH

The foundation of the Torah is built upon the ultimate, non-negotiable sovereignty of YAH over human souls. When man attempts to establish tyrannical authority over another human being, especially within the Covenant, he directly challenges the authority of the Almighty.

A. YAH’s Exclusive Deed of Ownership (Leviticus 25:42)

"For they are My servants, whom I brought out from the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves.” — Leviticus 25:42

The foundation of human liberty in the Tanakh is established here: YAH holds the sole title deed to the soul of every man, woman, and child of Israel.

When YAH broke the iron yoke of Pharaoh, He did not liberate His people so that human masters could re-enslave them under a different title. He bought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore, no human leader, king, or husband possesses ultimate ownership over a Daughter of the Covenant.

To reduce a woman to chattel, a weapon of control, or personal property is an attempt to rob the Most High of what He paid for in blood and deliverance. Man did not redeem woman from Egypt; man did not split the Sea of Reeds (Red Sea); man does not sustain her breath. A human soul cannot have two absolute sovereign masters. YAH alone is the King, Redeemer, and Owner of Israel.

When Israel demanded a king in 1 Samuel 8, it was not merely a political transition, it was a spiritual rejection of YAH’s direct sovereignty. They traded the freedom of being owned solely by the Creator for the oppressive burden of being owned by a mortal man.

1. The Divine Diagnosis: "They Have Rejected ME"

When the elders of Israel gathered and said, "Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations" (1 Samuel 8:5), Samuel was deeply grieved. But YAH laid bare the true root of their request:

"And YAH said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.” — 1 Samuel 8:7

Israel's desire for a human king was a fundamental rejection of the absolute sovereignty of YAH. Under YAH, every Hebrew was a direct servant to the King of Kings, free from human tyranny. But by asking for a king "like all the nations," they were asking for a human proxy to sit on YAH’s throne, effectively placing a mortal ruler between themselves and the Almighty.

2. The Prophetic Warning: The Return to Slavery (Perekh)

YAH instructed Samuel to warn them explicitly about what a human king would do. Samuel’s warning in 1 Samuel 8:11–18 is a detailed description of human tyranny, property confiscation, and absolute servitude:

• "He will take your sons..." (v. 11)
  
• "He will take your daughters..." (v. 13)
  
• "He will take your fields..." (v. 14)
  
• "And ye shall be his servants." (v. 17)
  

Notice the stark contrast: In Leviticus 25:42, YAH declares, "They are MY servants, whom I brought out from the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves." Yet, in 1 Samuel 8:17, Samuel warns, "And ye shall be HIS servants."

By demanding a human monarch, Israel voluntarily walked back into the system of Egypt. They traded the gentle yoke of YAH’s Covenant for the oppressive rule of human masters who would inevitably rule them with rigor (perekh). They chose human kings who would treat the people as personal property rather than YAH's prized possession, and this is exactly what Solomon did, and the people cried out, so much so, that the kingdom split because of the harsh treatment of his son, Rehoboam. Note: It was prophesied that ten tribes would break away because of Solomon’s sin of idolatry, but the harsh treatment of his son was the catalyst. 1 Kings 11:31 - “And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith YAH, the Elohim of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:”

3. The Idolatry of Human Kingship

The warning in 1 Samuel 8 concludes with a devastating truth:

"And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and YAH will not hear you in that day.” — 1 Samuel 8:18

Why wouldn't YAH answer? Because when a people elevates a human leader, whether a national king, a religious ruler, or a husband demanding absolute servitude, to the position of absolute master (lord), they have committed idolatry.

Human beings are inherently flawed, prone to pride, and driven by a desire for control. When a man assumes absolute authority over another soul, he demands the deference, fear, and submission that belong solely to YAH. He creates a system where human decree overrides divine law. This is the way some Brothers treat their wives. They are ignorant to the sovereignty of YAH, and some have a slavemaster mentality.

4. The Prohibition of Perekh—The Spirit of Pharaoh (Leviticus 25:43)

"You shall not rule over him with rigor, but shall fear your Elohim.” — Leviticus 25:43

The Hebrew word used here for "rigor" or "harshness" is פרך (perekh). This is the exact word used in Exodus 1:13–14 to describe how Pharaoh oppressed the children of Israel in Egypt:

"And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigor (perekh)..."

Leviticus 25 explicitly forbids Israel from bringing the spirit of Pharaoh into the covenant home or community. Any authority that operates through coercion, intimidation, harshness, or forced subservience is an imitation of Egypt.

When a man rules over his household with crushing dominance, he is not exhibiting godly leadership, he is adopting the exact methods of the oppressor YAH destroyed in the Sea of Reeds. The commandment ends with an explicit warning: "but shall fear your Elohim." To rule with perekh proves a lack of the fear of YAH, because it assumes a position of lordship that belongs to Elohim alone.

5. Exposing the Linguistic Deception: Respect vs. Subjugation

Surface-level theology frequently distorts English translations to justify human usurpation. A prime example is the misinterpretation of the word "master" or "lord" (adon):

• The Context of Adon (אֲדוֹנִי): In Genesis 18:12, when Sarah refers to Abraham as her "lord" (adoni), the word used is a common Hebrew term of civic respect, honor, and polite address, equivalent to "sir" or "honored husband." It is the exact same word used when Jacob addresses Esau (Genesis 32:4) or when David addresses Saul (1 Samuel 24:8). It denotes mutual respect within societal order, not divine ownership or absolute subjugation.

• The Error of Transference: Man takes a term of relational respect and inflates it into total spiritual dominance. But human respect never confers total control.

• Equal Identity in the Image of YAH: Genesis 1:27 states clearly that Elohim created humanity in His own image, male and female Created He them. Both are direct recipients of the Divine Image; neither was created as a second-class entity meant to serve as a human footstool.
  

When a man demands absolute servitude from his wife, he demands an allegiance that the Torah reserves strictly for the Almighty. Man has no power to save, no power to judge the soul, and no right to occupy the throne that belongs solely to YAH.

6. The Unbroken Thread: YAH Alone Is King

From the thunder at Sinai to the warnings of Samuel, the foundational truth of the Tanakh remains unshaken:

• No Human Proxy: YAH does not share His throne with any mortal man. No king, leader, or husband has the power to redeem, the right to judge a soul, or the authority to demand absolute servitude from any person, even slaves and servants are protected in the Hebrew Scriptures.

• True Freedom: Israel’s true glory was never found in imitating the hierarchical tyranny of the surrounding nations, but in living as free servants directly accountable to the Living Elohim.

• The Collapse of Usurpation: Any authority structure, national, communal, or domestic, that seeks to enslave a child of the Covenant directly opposes the Redeemer who brought Israel out of the iron furnace.

When Israel demanded a king, they forgot that their true protection, liberty, and identity were found in YAH alone. The call then, as it is now, is to throw off human usurpation and return to the true King.

B. Absolute Servitude is Worship, and Worship Belongs ONLY to YAH

The primary command of the entire Torah is clear:

"You shall have no other gods before Me." — Exodus 20:3

"You shall fear YAH your Elohim, and Him shall you serve..." — Deuteronomy 6:13

In Hebrew, "servitude" and "service" stem from the root עבד (‘avad), the exact same word used for worshipping YAH. Servitude in its absolute form is an act of worship. It requires the surrender of the mind, the soul, the will, and the conscience.

When a man demands that his word be law, that his desires supersede YAH’s commandments, or that a woman yield her entire autonomy to his whims, he is demanding 'avodah (service/worship) for himself. He is placing himself between a Daughter of the Covenant and her Creator. To demand absolute servitude is to proclaim: "Your ultimate allegiance stops with me." That is the classic definition of an idol.

1. Man Has No Power to Save or Redeem

Absolute allegiance is owed only to the One who redeems. The foundation of Israel’s covenant with YAH is built on deliverance:

"I am YAH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." — Exodus 20:2

YAH earned the ultimate allegiance of His people because He redeemed them.

• Did a husband pay the price to ransom his wife’s soul from death?
  
• Did man part the sea to deliver her from bondage?
  
• Can a man carry her sins, justify her spirit, or grant her life eternal?
  

No. Man did not create her, man did not redeem her, and man cannot save her. Therefore, man has zero right to demand what only the Redeemer is owed. When a man acts as if he holds ultimate leverage over a woman's life, he is living a delusion. He is a created being of dust attempting to act like the Creator.

2. Man Has No Power to Judge the Soul

Absolute authority requires absolute righteousness and the power of eternal judgment, qualities no mortal man possesses.

"For YAH is our Judge, YAH is our Lawgiver, YAH is our King; He will save us." — Isaiah 33:22

A human husband is flesh and blood. He makes mistakes, he succumbs to pride, he suffers from ignorance, and he will one day stand before the judgment seat of YAH as a mere subject, bare and accountable for every word and action.

How can a man who cannot even judge his own heart righteous demand to be the supreme judge and commander over another soul? When a husband demands that his wife obey him even if it violates her moral conscience or YAH's law, he is forcing her to treat his flawed human decree as higher than the flawless Law of Elohim. That is a direct breach of the Covenant.

3. Vacating the Stolen Throne

The ultimate tragedy of tyrannical human dominion is that it is built on a lie. The throne of a human heart and household does not belong to the husband, it belongs exclusively to YAH.

• The Stolen Throne: A man who sits on the throne demanding total surrender is an usurper. He is playing Elohim in his own home.

• The Fear of YAH: The moment a man truly fears YAH, he drops the whip of tyranny. He realizes that he, too, is merely a servant ('ebed) under authority. He does not own the woman; he is standing beside a fellow servant who answers directly to the King of Kings.
  

Any system, doctrine, or human tradition that tells a woman she must give a man the absolute submission that belongs to YAH alone is teaching heresy. It reduces the daughter of the King to a slave of creation, rather than a servant of the Creator.

The Verdict of the Torah

• The Soul's Loyalty: A Daughter of the Covenant answers directly to YAH. Her conscience, her worship, and her ultimate devotion belong to her Creator alone.

• The Collapse of Tyranny: Human dominance built on arrogance, emotional intimidation, or twisted texts stands condemned by Leviticus 25.
  

To rule with perekh is to invite the judgment of the One who hears the cry of the oppressed. Authority in the Torah is measured by humility, righteousness, and fear of the Almighty, never by forced dominion over another soul.

That statement cuts straight to the core of the issue because it exposes the ultimate spiritual crime taking place: idolatry through authority.

Closing Statement: When a man steps into a position where he demands absolute servitude, unchecked submission, or total surrender of a woman’s conscience, he is no longer just being overbearing or misguided. He is attempting to usurp the throne of the Most High.
