The 4th of Their Lie | The Illusion of Independence | A Report on Cultural Amnesia and Spiritual Blindness

Every year, like clockwork, the masses gather to ignite fireworks, fire up grills, and drape themselves in the colors of a nation that initially codified their ancestors as three-fifths of a human being. We enthusiastically celebrate the "Fourth of their Lie,” an Independence Day that was never meant to include us, while simultaneously turning our backs on the sacred appointed times of the Most High.

This is not just a lapse in judgment; it is a profound failure of leadership, a drought of wisdom, and a complete absence of plain common sense. We are willfully financing and celebrating a system that has historically and systematically worked to separate, devalue, and disenfranchise us.

1. The Historical and Contemporary Reality: "Stuck on Stupid"

We pour billions of dollars into a socioeconomic system that continues to erode our basic rights. While our people are distracted by barbecues and block parties, this government is actively turning back the clock. It is dismantling all the "rights" that our ancestors fought and died for:

• The Erosion of Civil Rights: Decades of hard-fought legal protections are being dismantled before our eyes.

• The Death of Affirmative Action: Institutional pathways to equity are being systematically stripped away.

• Targeted Redistricting: Political maps are redrawn with surgical precision to dilute our voting power and mute our collective voice. Voting is useless no matter who represents us!

Yet, despite these blatant maneuvers, we remain economically and psychologically dependent on the very system that devalues our humanity. We willingly hand over our hard-earned wealth to corporate empires that view us merely as consumers, never as stakeholders.

As the scriptures warn:

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..." — Hosea 4:6

2. The Hypocrisy: Celebrating the Master's Holidays, Rejecting YAH’s Holy Days

The ultimate tragedy is our spiritual displacement. We make absolutely no excuses when it comes to observing the holidays of the slavemaster, events rooted in paganism, colonialism, and our own subjugation. Yet, when it comes to observing the commanded, set-apart Feast Days of YAH, the excuses are endless: "It's too difficult," "We aren't under the law," "It's not convenient.”

We have traded the eternal laws of the Creator for the fleeting traditions of our oppressors. The prophets spoke directly to this state of rebellious confusion.

The Warning Against Pagan Traditions

The Most High explicitly commanded us not to learn the ways of the nations that held us captive:

"Thus saith YAH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain..." — Jeremiah 10:2-3

The Rejection of Divine Law

By choosing man-made celebrations over divine appointed times (holy days), we mirror the exact rebellion that led to our ancestors' captivity in the first place:

"But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear YAH our Elohim, that giveth rain..." — Jeremiah 5:23-24

3. A Catastrophic Failure of Leadership

Where are the leaders? The modern leadership class, both spiritual and political, has largely failed to sound the alarm. Instead of teaching self-reliance, spiritual accountability, and historical truth, they accommodate the status quo. They appease the system for a seat at a table where they are only tolerated, not respected.

They have allowed the flock to remain asleep, comforting them with false promises of integration and prosperity within a burning house.

"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter." — Isaiah 56:10-11

The Bottom Line

True independence does not come from a sparkler, a day off from work, or a flag that symbolized your chains when it was woven. True liberty begins with the mind and the spirit. The fourth of their lie is not a day of celebration for the descendants of chattel slavery. The heathen's culture, way of life, diet, style of dress, and his holidays should never resemble ours! We are a set-apart people - holy to YAH. Nothing about us should ever be similar to the heathen that oppresses us!

It is time to wake up, stop funding our own degradation, and return to the heritage, laws, and Holy Days of the Most High. Until we break the psychological and spiritual dependency on the system that enslaved us, we will remain comfortably enslaved, celebrating the anniversaries of our own captivity.

Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
