The Evil Defense of Polygyny | Why the Men of Israel Fight to Preserve the "Hoe Culture"

There is a terrifying phenomenon happening right now across platforms, ministries, and communities. When the clean, uncompromised plumb line of the Torah is taught concerning the behavior, dress, and standards of our women, and the men who exploit them, a violent, defensive spirit rises up.

When you stand up and loudly declare that the modern "hoe culture" is a direct assault on the image and reflection of Elohim, you don’t just get pushback from the world. Shockingly, you get hit with fierce, tooth-and-nail resistance from the Brothers.

The question every single soul looking for true salvation has to ask is: Why?

Why are the men of Israel fighting so desperately to keep our women, our households, and themselves trapped in a culture of hyper-sexualization, degradation, and loose morals? Why do they turn into raging lunatic defense attorneys for the very lifestyle that keeps our nation broken, scattered, and operating in darkness?

The answer is as old as the fall of man: To satisfy the raw, unchecked lust of the flesh. They are weaponizing the Scriptures to create a spiritual license for their own vices.

I. The Explicit Torah Prohibition Against Whoredom

The Most High laid down an unyielding standard in the Torah regarding the sexual sanctity and dignity of the daughters of Zion. He did not leave room for compromise, and He explicitly warned the men against facilitating or tolerating this behavior:

"Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness." (Leviticus 19:29)

Look at the national consequence of allowing this culture to fester. The text doesn’t say it just affects the individual; it says the entire land falls to whoredom and becomes full of wickedness. Why? Because it becomes normalized as in the days of old.

When men defend a culture where women are viewed as sexual commodities, they are directly inviting the judgment of the Almighty onto the entire community. Yet, these modern teachers and leaders will step over this scripture to protect their access to flesh. They cannot show you one Holy Scripture where YAH ordained, commanded, or sanctified polygyny. They also cannot prove that YAH said it was ‘holy and righteous.’ They are liars! They have tolerated, coddled, and encouraged a low-standard, highly accessible sexual culture because it serves their appetites.

II. The Trap of Multiplied Lust

The defense of this loose culture isn't just about casual interactions; it has been systemically woven into their theological defense of polygyny.

These leaders grasp at historical narratives to claim that a man can accumulate as many women as his eyes desire, completely ignoring the structural and legal boundaries set by the Lawgiver. They use the concept of multiple women not as a heavy, covenantal responsibility of protection, provision, and holy lineage, but as a scriptural cover-up for an addiction to variety and flesh.

The Torah directly exposes the heart of a ruler or leader who multiplies women:

"Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away..." (Deuteronomy 17:17)

The principle is clear: multiplying women turns the heart away from the holiness and justice of YAH. Why? Because his time is spent satisfying his women and/or his lust!

Watch how fast the spirit in these men changes to absolute evil the moment you tell them that their version of marriage (polygyny) is not holy, not righteous, and completely unsanctioned by YAH. The moment you take away their scriptural excuse to collect women like property, their academic facade slips off. They become angry, venomous, and defensive. They resort to surface-level, lazy interpretations because an intimate understanding of His Holiness would require them to discipline their eyes and crucify their lusts.

III. The Ancient Indictment Against the Flesh-Drivers

This evil spirit of man is nothing new. The Prophet Hosea dealt with the exact same leadership defect, men who wanted to live in complete debauchery while expecting the nation to be blessed:

"They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills... therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery." (Hosea 4:13)

YAH looked at the corrupt men of Israel and said, I will not even punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, why? Because you men are separating yourselves with whores and sacrificing with harlots! (Hosea 4:14).

The men were the drivers of the culture. They created the market for the degradation. They cannot condemn their daughters when they are actively participating in the same “hoe culture.” You cannot demand a holy, righteous nation of women while the men are actively fighting to keep the gutter open so they can wallow in it.

The Verdict: Operating in the Fall

Brothers, if you are fighting tooth and nail to defend a culture where women are devalued, denied the right to be a covenant wife, stripped of human dignity, or viewed as mere property to satisfy your reproductive or sexual desires, you are operating purely in the fall of man. You are acting exactly like the slavemasters of old who looked at our mothers and daughters as property.

You are missing the mark. You are using the holy words of the Creator to build a playground for your evil lust.

If you truly loved the nation, if you truly loved the people and all Judah, you would want our women elevated to the highest standard of covenant honor, protection, and respect. You would stop treating them like commodities and start treating them like the indispensable counterparts they were created to be. Stop the defense of the flesh. Stop lying on the Holiness of YAH to protect your vices. Repent, humble your spirit, and let the daughters of Zion be free from the shadows of your lust.

Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
