YAH Has Spoken: Why “Multiplying Women" is a Convenantal Breach
- The Problem: Attempting to produce a Holy Seed through side-chick agreements, casual flings, and polygyny.
- The Scriptural Anchor: Genesis 2:24. The command wasn't to "collect" flesh, but to become one flesh.
- The Impact: When YAH created the Garden Blueprint, He didn't run out of "ribs." He had the "residue of the spirit" to make a thousand women for Adam (Malachi 2:15). Why only one? Because He was seeking a Holy Seed. A holy seed can only be produced through a one-flesh covenant-only marriage. A man can only have one covenant of marriage with only one woman. Anyone else is a side-chick and not a wife.
- The Reality: You cannot produce a holy seed outside the covenant of marriage. A "holy seed" needs the protection of a unified "one-flesh" relationship.
The Most High builds nations on covenants. He follows the legal marriage bed, not the fleshly desires of man, and this is why a "side-chick" can’t produce a “King."
- The Truth: We must distinguish between "biological output" and "covenant seed." YAH does not put His name on what is built outside the covenant, my Brothers and Sisters. To be a holy nation, the bed must be a legal, covenanted altar.
- Key Concept: The "side-chick" relationship is not just a moral lapse; it is a structural and cultural failure that leaves the resulting children without a spiritual “roof”- (covering) over their heads.
The Verdict is In: Fact vs. Opinion
In the court of public opinion, people often view King David’s "women" as a royal perk or a cultural norm. But when we move the conversation from the court of opinion to the Supreme Court of Heaven, the narrative shifts.
By looking at Deuteronomy 17:17, we aren't just looking at a suggestion; we are looking at the Statutory Foundation of the Kingdom. This is the "no-multiplication" clause. When David stepped outside of this boundary, he wasn't just making a personal mistake, he became a Lawbreaker in the eyes of the Law and those children of the side-chicks were left without the spiritual covering under the covenant of marriage.
The Convenantal Crisis: The King vs. The Law
Most people think being a king means you can do whatever you want. But YAH designed kingship to be a position of extreme discipline. Look at the judicial logic exposed in the Torah:
- The Prohibition: "Neither shall he multiply wives to himself..." (Deuteronomy 17:17). This is a statutory boundary. The moment a leader moves from one covenant wife to having many women, he has breached his contract with the Most High.
- The Consequence: Because these side-arrangements breach Deuteronomy 17:17, the children born of them don't have a legal claim to the throne. They are the fruit of a crime against the Torah, therefore, they have no spiritual covering and cannot sit on the throne. Also, they have no legal claim to their father’s inheritance.
- The Sovereign Bypassing: YAH is too just to allow the "fruit of a breach" to inherit the scepter. He didn’t allow the elder, non covenant—born sons, Amnon, Absalom, Adonijah, to sit on the throne of David. They were biological royalty, but they didn't have the legal right. The covenant of marriage creates a ‘holy seed” that creates the right to sit on the throne.
Why the "Fence" Matters
The "Holy Seed" isn't just about biology; it’s about Covenant. According to Holy Scripture, the Holy Seed (Malachi 2:15) only grows when the marriage is protected by the rules. Anything produced outside that fence is "unfenced" seed, it has no protection, no title deed, and no claim to the estate.
Debunking Polygyny
Some attempt to use Deuteronomy 17:16 (regarding horses) to justify "multiplying" women, suggesting as long as it isn't "too many," it's fine. This is a hollow defense. Just as the King was commanded not to go to Egypt for horses, thus forcing him to depend on YAH for strength rather than military might, he was commanded not to multiply wives to ensure his heart remained undivided.
Solomon eventually surpassed David in both, and the result was the same: a breach.
The Ruling
Mishpacha, see the absolute precision of the Law! Most people look at the palace and say, "He was the King, he could do what he wanted." Lies!
The Most High stood on the balcony of Heaven and watched the violation of the very commandment the King was sworn to uphold. Deuteronomy 17:17 was the restraining order against lust. When the roster started growing, it wasn't nation-building; it was a covenantal breach.
YAH waited. He waited until the bed was cleared and the judgment had passed. Then, through the legal restoration of the marriage bed, He brought forth the one who actually had the paperwork, Bahtshevah (Bathsheba). The Holy Seed requires a Holy Boundary. If there is no boundary, there is no blessing. If a lifestyle violates Deuteronomy 17:17, it is a pagan custom, and YAH will bypass it every single time. A side-chick cannot produce a “holy seed,” only the covenant can. This is why David’s sons, prior to the birth of Solomon were bypassed, and then eventually the Most High allowed the sword to destroy them.
If the Most High had left even one of those sons of the side-chicks alive while Solomon was a young king without an heir, the entire Davidic line would have been sitting in a high-security death trap. The moment David closed his eyes, the surviving side-chick’s children would have launched a bloody, relentless civil war to assassinate Solomon, seize the scepter, and permanently corrupt the lineage of the Holy Seed.
The Military Security of the Promise
Look at how terrifyingly close the kingdom came to a total collapse.
By the time King David was old and dying in 1 Kings 1, Adonijah, the last major standing son of the roster list, tried to usurp the throne. He looked at the layout, saw that David was old and stricken, and attempted a coup d'état. He gathered chariots, horsemen, and key military officials to declare himself king before Solomon could even be anointed (1 Kings 1:5).
If Adonijah’s plan had succeeded, his very first executive order would have been the immediate, systematic execution of Solomon and Bahthsevah (Bathsheba) to eliminate any future competition (1 Kings 1:21-“Otherwise it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders.”)
But the Most High's timing is flawless. He allowed Adonijah's pride to fully expose itself, forced the rogue coronation into the light, and used Solomon’s first days of absolute power to permanently drop the hammer:
"And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him [Adonijah] that he died." — 1 Kings 2:25
The Complete Isolation of the Covenant Heir
With that final strike, the sword completed the sweep. Look at how meticulously the Court of Heaven insulated Solomon before he ever laid the foundation of the Temple:
- Zero Political Subversion: There was no elder brother left in the corridors to whisper treason to the elders.
- Zero Lineage Contamination: There was no secondary, roster-born seed left breathing who could claim the birthright if Solomon’s early throne faced a crisis.
- Absolute Sovereign Peace: The ledger was wiped completely clean. The side-arrangements were fully destroyed, leaving Solomon in a state of absolute, undisputed security to bring forth his own heir, Rehoboam, and keep the line of the Holy Seed unbroken.
Conclusion
Look at the absolute, meticulous genius of the Most High! YAH didn't just clear the roster to be petty, He did it to keep Solomon alive!
If YAH had left Amnon, Absalom, or Adonijah walking around the palace while Solomon was sitting on that throne without an heir, Solomon wouldn't have survived his first year in office. The roster children would have formed alliances, gathered weapons, and slaughtered the Covenant Heir just to steal the crown.
So what did YAH do? He watched the clock perfectly. He let the sword hunt down the side-chick’s son and put them in the grave before David drew his last breath. He systematically annihilated the elder sons until there was absolutely nobody left to contest the paperwork. When Solomon stood up to build the House of YAH, the room was empty, the opposition was dead, and the Covenant was locked down tight.
Stop wondering why YAH is systematically removing certain people from your life, closing certain doors, and letting your old connections completely dry up! You are out here stressed, trying to revive people from your past, while the Most High is operating with meticulous precision to protect your future. He is clearing the room before the promise manifests because He knows that if He leaves those people in your life, they will hinder your destiny before you can even build an inheritance.
Praise the Mighty YAH for the doors He shut! Stop fighting the purge, ‘let sleeping dogs lie,’ and step into the absolute peace of a cleared covenant layout!
Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
