The Great Separation | Restoring the Genesis Separation of Day and Night | The Dual Sabbath
Shalom Mishpacha, this blogpost is designed to be the foundational "Manual of Time" for the Kol Tzion audience. It breaks the spell of the Gregorian "24/7" cycle and restores the Genesis 1:4-5 separation between the two great governors.
For too long, the children of Israel has been trapped in a singular, artificial clock; a "Universal Time" that ignores the specific commands of the Creator. We have been told that a "day" is a 24-hour cycle starting at midnight according to the heathens, or at sunset according to the jews, but the Heavens tell a different story.
In this year of Divine Awakening, the "armed robber" is being exposed. Part of that robbery was the theft of Time itself. Today, we restore the Dual Sabbath Count.
Restoring the Genesis Separation of Day and Night
The greatest deception ever foisted upon the mind of man was the "24-Hour Day." By blurring the boundary between Light and Darkness, man has attempted to merge two distinct realms of governance into a single period of time. To walk in the Truth is to restore the Separation.
I. The First Separation (The Work vs. The Rest)
In the beginning, YAH did not create "Time" as a 24-hour clock. He created The Light and called it Day. The Darkness was already there, and He called it Night. The weekly and earthly count didn't start with the existence of the Sun and Moon, it started with the existence of day and night. The Sun and Moon were created on the fourth day to governed what was already in existence.
- The Day (Work): YAH functioned exclusively in the Light. Every "And Elohim said..." happened in the Daylight.
- The Night (Rest): Darkness was already there; it is the natural state of the void. YAH left the Darkness as it was, designating it as Night. Darkness is the pre-existing state of rest. It was not the creation; it was the canvas upon which the Light was painted.
By working in the Day and leaving the Night as it was, YAH established the First Rhythm: Work is a function of Light; Rest is a function of Darkness.
II. The Separation of Powers (Genesis 1:14-18)
Scriptural Text: “And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, to divide between day and night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and for years. 15 And let them be for light in the firmament of the heaven, so as to shine upon the earth, and it was so. 16 And Elohim made the two great lights, the greater light for regulating the day and the lesser light for regulating the night, the stars also. 17 And Elohim placed them in the firmament of the heaven, so as to shine upon the earth, 18 and to regulate day and night, and to divide between the light and the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.”
YAH did not create one light to rule everything. He created Two Great Lights and gave them distinct jurisdictions. When you mix them, you create the "twilight of confusion" that the nations (the heathens) use to hide their iniquity.
- The Sun (The Day): Governs the Light. It rules over Man’s labor, the Solar Year, and the Sabbath Day.
- The Moon (The Night): Governs the Darkness. It rules over the Earth’s biological rest, the Tides, the Atmosphere, and the Growth Cycles.
III. The Two Governors (The Sun and the Moon)
On the fourth day, YAH installed the "Deputies" to manage these pre-existing realms. They do not share power; their jurisdictions are absolute and separate.
Because the Sun and the Moon are separate, they carry two simultaneous counts that only align perfectly when we follow the First Light of the New Moon.
- The Sun: Governor of the Day. The Sun rules the Light. It dictates the 12-hour work cycle of man and the Solar Week. Man’s rest, the Weekly Sabbath, is a "Daylight" rest, governed by the Sun.
- The Moon: Governor of the Night. The Moon rules the Darkness. It dictates the biological and planetary functions of the Earth. The Earth’s rest, the Lunar Sabbath, is a "Nighttime" rest, governed by the Moon.
IV. The Earth’s Sabbath: The Night Count (Moon)
The Earth is a living, breathing creation under the governance of the Moon. Because the Moon controls the waters (tides) and the internal fluids of plants, the Earth requires a Night-Based Rest - every seven days.
- The Signal: For example: The First Light of the New Moon (March 20, 2026).
- The Count: 7 Nights from the First Light.
- The Earth's Rest: Tonight, Friday (March 27), is the 7th Night. The Moon is now at the quarter-turn, signaling the Earth to enter its Sabbatical rest.
- The Verdict: While the Earth rests tonight, the Moon will pull the tides against those who refuse to let the Earth breathe.
V. Man’s Weekly Sabbath: The Day Count (Sun)
While the Earth rests under the Moon, Man, the image-bearer, rests under the Sun. Man’s labor is a "Daylight" activity.
- The Signal: The First Sunrise of the New Year (Saturday Morning, March 21).
- The Count: 7 Sunrises from the First Light.
- Man’s Rest: Tomorrow, Saturday Morning (March 28), starts the 7th Day. This is the Sabbath of the Commandment.
- The Protocol: We cease from "armed robbery" (taking what is not ours) and "toil" (working for the buyer/seller system). We align with the Sun’s 7th-day light.
⛓️ The Duality: Two Counts, One Truth
We are currently living in a Double Sabbath Window.
- Tonight (Night): We honor the Earth’s Rest under the Moon.
- Tomorrow (Day): We honor Man’s Rest under the Sun.
VI. Why the World is in Friction
Modern society is a "24/7" machine. It forces man to labor under artificial lights (Night) and forces the Earth to endure industrial noise (Day). This creates “friction” - biological disease, mental exhaustion, and planetary decay. By ignoring the Separation, man has essentially tried to "Un-Create" what YAH did in Genesis 1.
When you honor the Night Sabbath (tonight) and the Day Sabbath (tomorrow morning), you are not just "taking a break,” you are performing a judicial act. You are acknowledging that the Night belongs to the Moon and the Day belongs to the Sun.
- The Night belongs to the Moon: You yield your body and the Earth's resources to the Lunar governance.
- The Day belongs to the Sun: You yield your labor and your soul to the Solar governance.
📢 The Verdict
The "armed robber" of the Roman calendar has been caught. We no longer start our days in the dark, nor do we ignore the Earth's need for a Night-based rest. Tonight, we rest with the Moon. Tomorrow, we rest with the Sun. The duality is our peace. The separation is our power.
Conclusion:
1. The Sun: Governor of the Day
The Sun rules the Light. It dictates the 12-hour work cycle and the Solar Year.
- Target: Man (The Image-Bearer).
- The Weekly Sabbath: This is a Daylight Rest. It is governed by the Sun and starts at the Seventh Sunrise of the weekly count.
2. The Moon: Governor of the Night
The Moon rules the Darkness. It dictates the biological and planetary functions of the Earth.
- Target: The Earth (Atmosphere, Tides, Growth Cycles).
- The Earth's Sabbath: This is a Nighttime Rest. It is governed by the Moon and starts at the Seventh Night from the First Light.
📢 The Call to the Mishpacha:
Stop trying to fit the Creator into a Roman calendar. The Moon has decreed the Earth’s rest tonight; the Sun will decree your rest tomorrow morning. We are the 'Children of the Light' who understand the Night. As we approach the Sabbath Day, ensure your house is aligned with the Governors of the Heavens, not the taskmasters of the Earth.
📢 The Verdict:
We are no longer slaves to the Roman clock. Tonight, we yield to the Moon and let the Earth rest. Tomorrow morning, we yield to the Sun and let the Image-Bearer rest. The duality is our freedom. The separation is our peace.
Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
