Tefillah (Prayer) | 🕊️ The Sabbath Prayer Cycle | Four Sabbath Prayers for Peace & Restoration
🌅 The Morning Prayer: The Gift of Light
“I will sing of Your strength; I will sing aloud of Your lovingkindness in the morning; for You have been my fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.” (Psalm 59:16)
The Prayer:
YAH, I awaken to the light of Your Sabbath. I thank You for the breath in my lungs and the peace in my home. As I enter this day of rest, be my fortress and my stronghold. Let my eyes see Your beauty and my voice declare Your praise. Selah.
🥗 The Meal Prayer: The Gift of Sustenance
“The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due season.” (Psalm 145:15)
The Prayer:
Blessed are You, YAH, who brings forth bread from the earth and joy from the Spirit. As I eat, let me remember that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from Your mouth. May this meal nourish my body as Your Sabbath nourishes my soul. Selah.
☀️ The Afternoon Prayer: The Gift of Presence
“One thing I have asked of YAH, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of YAH all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of YAH and to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4)
The Prayer:
In the heat of the day, I seek Your shadow. YAH, keep my mind stayed on You. Renew my strength like the eagle’s wing. Let the stillness of this afternoon wash away the noise of the week. You are my portion and my cup; You maintain my lot. Selah
🌙 The Evening Prayer: The Gift of Peace
“I remember You upon my bed, and meditate on You in the night watches.” (Psalm 63:6)
The Prayer:
As the sun sets and the Sabbath comes to an end, I thank and praise you for Your faithfulness to the children of Israel. Forgive the sins of our forefathers and draw us back to Your path. I lay down in peace, for You alone, YAH, make us dwell in safety. Let the peace of this day remain with us into the week ahead. Selah.
Elohim still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
