  • Mealtime: The Recognition of the Giver. In the act of nourishment, we pause to remember the Source of all provision. This isn't just about gratitude for food; it's a profound recognition that every blessing, every ability, every breath comes from a generous Creator. It’s a powerful guard against pride, reminding us that we are stewards, not owners.
  • Afternoon: The Guard Against Compromise. As the day progresses and pressures mount, this prayer becomes our shield. It's a proactive defense against the "small steps" of rationalization and the subtle whispers of compromise that can lead our hearts astray. Morah’s Application:

To have a Hearing Heart is to move from being a 'slave of the nations' to a 'partner of the covenant.' A slave hears the taskmaster's whip; a Son hears the Father’s whisper.
