The Instructions of the Father to the House of Israel - Psalms 34:11-22
“Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of YAH. What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of YAH are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry. The face of YAH is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and YAH heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. YAH is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but YAH delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. YAH redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.”
Hearken, O House of Israel: To fear YAH is to submit your heart to His statutes and your feet to His narrow path; it is the total surrender to the will of the GOD, departing from the ways of the nations to walk in the ancient paths of righteousness. Let this be the blueprint for your soul:
First, desire life and love many days. Let your heart not be seduced by the fleeting pleasures of the world, and let your mind not be deceived by the desires of the flesh, but let it crave the eternal life found only in the Laws of GOD. To fear Him is to depart from evil. To love Him is to obey His commands. Choose this day to see the "good" that comes from obedience, rejecting the path of destruction that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death and destruction.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. Set a watch, O Israel, over the door of your lips. In a world that thrives on slander, gossip, and backbiting, be a people of unwavering truth. Let your "yes" be "yes" and your "no" be “no" in truthfulness and righteousness. To fear YAH is to realize that every word is spoken in the hearing of Him; therefore, let no deceit defile the mouth of His people.
Depart from evil and do good. Do not stand still in the presence of iniquity nor entertain foolishness, but flee from it. Turn your back on the fruits of evil: idolatry, murder, greed, whoredom, sexual immorality, and the idols of the nations. But do not stop at departing; you must actively "do" good. Let your hands be busy with the righteous matters of the law: judgment, mercy, and faith. Let your life be a living testimony of righteousness that leaves no room for the works of iniquity.
Seek peace and pursue it. Recognize that Shalom is not a passive feeling, but a holy pursuit. You must chase it down through humility while sudjugating your own pride. Be the bridge-builder within the tribes; be the one who exercise prudence and forgiveness. For where there is unity and peace, YAH dwells in the midst thereof.
Trust not in the strength of man, nor in the riches of the earth. To fear YAH is to lean not on your own understanding. Do not boast in your wisdom or your might, but boast in this: that you know and understand the Holy One. Let your confidence be anchored in the Rock of Israel, for money is a vain thing for safety, and the walls of men will surely crumble.
Humble yourself under His mighty hand. Remember that YAH resists the proud but gives grace to the lowly. To walk in holy fear is to walk with a broken and a contrite spirit, trembling at His Word. Let all arrogance be stripped away, for the King of the Universe dwells with him who is of a humble spirit, to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Serve Him with gladness and undivided devotion. Let your service not be out of a spirit of anger and regret, but out of a heart faithful to the covenant. To fear YAH is to serve Him with all your heart, all your soul, and all your might. Let there be no high places left in your heart; no secret rooms where other masters dwell. Give Him your complete devotion, for He is a jealous GOD and His name is Holy.
Remember the covenant and keep His charges. Israel, remember that you are a set-apart people; commanded to walk in the statutes and commandments He gave to our fathers, and let them be as frontlets between your eyes. Do not go whoring after the gods of the strangers, but keep your garments white and your spirit bright, for the Holy One of Israel is your Judge, your Lawgiver, and your King.
The eyes of YAH are upon the righteous and His ears are open to their suffering, to save them from of all of their troubles. Let us tremble at His Word and find refuge in His mercy, for none who trust in Him shall be desolate.
Comfort for the Broken-Hearted
We lift up those among us who are crushed, downtrodden, vexed, oppressed, or depressed in their spirit. YAH, You have promised to be nigh unto the brokenhearted and to save those of a contrite spirit. In our moments of deepest sorrow, let us feel the closeness of Your Presence. Though the afflictions of the righteous may be many, we hold fast to the promise that You deliver us out of them all.
- Guard our Mind, Body, & Spirit: Even as we face trials, You keep our very bones, ensuring that not one is broken.
- Redeem our souls: We trust in Your hand to ransom us from the deepest pit.
- Avert desolation: While the wicked may find desolation in their hatred, we find peace in the refuge of Your Law.
A Cry for Deliverance
Hear us, O YAH, as we cry out in our troubles. We trust in Your power to deliver and Your mercy to redeem. Let our lives be a testament to Your faithfulness, a living scroll that declares Your goodness to all generations. We lean not on our own understanding, but on the Rock of our Salvation, knowing that none who trust in You shall ever be desolate.
Selah.
Reflection for the House of Israel
- The Tongue: Does your speech reflect the truth of the Torah?
- The Hands: Are you actively pursuing "good" or just avoiding "bad"?
- The Mind: Are you trusting in your own strength or the arm of the Almighty?
GOD still loves you, Israel. The call remains the same: Choose Life, Choose Blessing, Choose Undivided Devotion. Repent, Return, and be free from the shadows of gross darkness.
