Tefillah (Prayer) | The Waiting Season: Prayer for a Future Spouse

Almighty GOD,

In the quiet moments when loneliness weighs heavy on my heart, and constant thoughts of being alone occupy my mind, I find myself yearning for a loving partnership, a deep connection with a companion; to be “basar echad” one-flesh in unity. I turn to You, my ever-present companion, for comfort and solace in the midst of my struggles, to surrender my burdens into Your loving hands, to soothe my troubled heart, and to empower me with the strength and patience to endure. Though I may feel alone, devoid of a spouse, I know You are always with me, offering guidance and encouragement. Ease the aches and mental pains of loneliness, YAH, and fill the empty spaces with Your love, and the promise of a future spouse, knowing Your timing is perfect, and trusting in Your plan for my life. Grant me peace in the present, allowing me to find contentment in You alone, until I am ready to receive that blessing, according to Your divine will. Remind me that I am never truly alone, and to draw strength from Your unfailing love, for You are always by my side. Help me to connect with others, to build meaningful relationships, and to ultimately connect with my future spouse, but not just any spouse, but a spouse after your own heart, who fears You, serves You, and who will honor the covenant of marriage You have given to man. May I be a source of comfort and support to those who are also feeling alone, as well as those who desire to be in a loving covenant relationship with You and their spouse; offering them the same compassion and understanding that I seek from You.



Thank You for being my constant companion, even in the loneliest of times. May I always find solace in Your presence and strength in Your love. Blessed be YAH Elohim of YisraEL from everlasting to everlasting.
